TAKE THAT

Polydor 1787444, £12.99
Now officially the world's first Man Band, Take That must take responsibility for all others that follow.

The new music is secondary to the cultural phenomenon. Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason clearly had a long time to work on comeback album Beautiful World and hit single 'Patience'.

Sadly there is nothing to match that here, although Mark Owen fans will take 'Hello' to their hearts, and Howard gets a reasonable run-out on 'What Is Love'. The best reprise of their heyday is probably 'Up All Night', but then lads, at your age, that doesn't happen any more, does it?
