Buyers line up for retail brand Internacionale
Glasgow-based intellectual property specialist Metis Partners had asked for expressions of interest in the brands, website content and customer databases owned by Internacionale, the fashion retailer which went into administration in January.
Metis director Stephen Robertson said there had been high levels of interest in the assets. “We’ve been quite surprised by the response but I think it is partly down to the fact Internacionale is seen as a value brand at a time when retailers in that segment are doing very well,” he said.

Hide AdThe deadline has been extended from last Friday until 4pm on Wednesday. Internacionale, which had 89 stores across the UK, called in administrators from PwC after falling victim to poor trading and “increasing creditor pressure” from landlords.
