Recruitment firm backs CodeClan digital skills academy
Be-IT Resourcing, the Edinburgh-based recruitment firm, is to help fund an aspiring software developer at Scotland’s digital skills academy.
The firm joins others such as software company Simul8 and digital technologies trade body ScotlandIS in providing a scholarship at CodeClan, which launched in Edinburgh last month.
Gareth Biggerstaff, managing director of Be-IT Resourcing, said: “Our scholarship is designed to support an economically disadvantaged student studying coding as Scotland addresses the skills shortage in this sector. As recruiters, we have daily experience of the very real problems businesses face in sourcing IT talent.
