INVERNESS Caley Thistle are set to snap up Ugandan winger Dan Wagaluka this week on a three-month deal.
The 22-year-old is on his way to Scotland for trials with Craig Brewster's side.

And Inverness will pay his club, Uganda Revenue Authority, a nominal transfer fee to complete the deal.

URA FC director Nixon Tewabze said: "Wagaluka is joining the Scottish team for trials and if all goes well, we hope to conclude the deal before the transfer deadline at the end of the month.

"We also sent Inverness some video recordings of his Uganda games."

Wagaluka will become the second Ugandan in the SPL after former national coach Csaba Laszlo, signed left-winger David Obua at Hearts.

Laszlo is known to be keen to bring in more talent from the Ugandan national set-up to bolster his squad at Tynecastle.
