SPOT ON

Are you self-conscious about uneven pigmentation or age spots? Elemis has come up with a new product to target unwelcome melanin on the surface of the skin, which can be caused by hormones, age and sun exposure. Simply dot on to problem areas. Discolouration is lightened and further dark spots are less likely. The future’s bright.

WELCOME MATTE

Most committed lippie-wearers can be divided into two camps depending on their preference for a rich, glossy pout, or a sleek, liquid-suede finish. Mac is catering to the latter group with its collection of Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour. With 15 colours from the fire truck red of Fashion Legacy to the peachy nude of Back in Vogue, there’s something for everyone. Pucker up.

This week Sisley unveils its Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Age, a moisturiser 17 years in the making. Such a mega product does come with a mega price tag, but results are said to be spectacular, as the rich cream is formulated to tackle genetic ageing and also effects linked to behavioural ageing, eg sun damage, smoking and poor diet.

Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Age, £285, on counter from tomorrow (www.sisley-paris.com).

WHAT A RELIEF

Dry, sensitive skin? You may wish to consider a micellar cleanser that removes makeup and cleans the skin without the need for rinsing. Apply to a cotton pad and sweep over the face, allowing the micelle molecules to grab and trap unwanted oil, pollution and dirt. No water required.
