Contract woe for drug case footballer
Solicitor Jonathan Campbell told Edinburgh Sheriff Court the Hibs ace wants a resolution to charges which allege he resisted police arrest and was caught in possession of cocaine.
Yesterday Mr Campbell told Sheriff Derrick McIntyre that O’Connor, 28, wasn’t ready to go to trial because defence QC Paul McBride was spending the day acting in a High Court case. The brief asked for the trial to be adjourned.
