Heritage body names new trustees
More than 40,000 people voted for the ten, who will be co-opted in due course to join the board and will provide additional, specialist skills.
The new board of trustees will meet for the first time on a formal basis in March.

Hide AdCommenting on the ballot outcome, the trust's chairman, Sir Kenneth Calman, said: "It is hugely encouraging in this, the charity's 80th year, to see such a large proportion of our wide and diverse membership becoming directly involved in shaping the trust's future.
"It is both reassuring and exciting that our members have made such wise choices in the trustees they have elected.
