Moderator to follow Knox
KIRK Moderator the Rt Rev John Christie will follow in the footsteps of John Knox by preaching at a historic church.
The 16th-century preacher who led the Scottish Reformation regularly took services at the Kirk of Calder, and next-door Calder House is thought to have been the site of the first reformed celebration of Holy Communion in Scotland.
Mr Christie will preach there on Wednesday at 7pm to mark 450th anniversary of the Reformation.
