Pledge tree is hoping to grow good ideas
While the tree is on display, council staff will be invited to offer suggestions on how to save energy at work.
Council leader Jenny Dawe will add her own pledge to the tree, alongside Brendan Dick, director of BT Scotland, which worked alongside the council to launch the 'Carbon Club' pilot project earlier this year.

The launch of the pledge tree will not only remind people of their responsibility to the environment, but also hopefully encourage new and exciting ways to cut both waste and costs."
The pledge tree will be at Waverley Court for two weeks.
