Drink only tills at major stores
SUPERMARKETS could be forced to introduce separate tills for the purchase of alcohol.
If the move goes ahead shoppers would have to buy alcohol in specially designated zones within stores, to clarify that wine, spirits and beers are not routine purchases.
This follows increased concerns about Scotland’s abusive relationship with alcohol.

Hide AdLast night a spokesman for the Scottish Government said the proposal was suggested by Alcohol Focus Scotland, and added: “We will consider their proposals but our focus remains on minimum pricing, this [idea] will not be included in the Bill.”
