Promotion chief sought
HEADHUNTERS have been brought in to find a chief executive for a new marketing body to promote the Capital around the world.
Executive search specialist FWB has been tasked with finding a figurehead for the new Marketing Edinburgh body to promote the city as a tourism destination, a business hub and as a place to live and study.
Marketing Edinburgh is being formed from an existing alliance set up by the council, the city's business tourism unit and film location agency.
It is thought the new chief executive will be paid a salary of around 110,000.
The job description says suitable candidates will "be visible, prolific networkers".
