The ‘Glasgow penis fireworks’ video is a hoax (but it’s still funny)
ONLY in Glasgow? Well, not quite. An online video showing ‘peculiar’ patterns in a fireworks display has become a viral hit – but it’s since been outed as a fake.
The video, posted by popular humour site The Poke, claims to be from a Bonfire Night celebration in Glasgow.
Hundreds of spectators are filmed gazing up at the fireworks above, when two rockets career off in parallel line before curving towards each other, followed by two large spherical explosions just below.

Despite the video’s dubious origin, it still racked up two million views on YouTube and being featured on a number of national titles.
