Two held by police after ‘serious sexual assault’
TWO men have been detained by police after reports of a serious sexual assault in the north of the Capital.
Police officers said inquiries were continuing following reports of the incident in the Salamander Street area in the early hours of this morning.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police in Edinburgh are investigating following a report of serious sexual assault in the Salamander Street area in the early hours of Tuesday 24th March.
“Enquiries are ongoing and two men have currently been detained.”
