Blue Peter presenter sets Amazon record
BLUE Peter presenter Helen Skelton yesterday completed a 2,000-mile kayak trip along the Amazon river for Sport Relief.
She was greeted by cheering children and celebratory gunfire as she crossed the finish line at the end of her South American adventure.
The 26-year-old became the first woman to achieve the feat.
