Three people have been arrested and drugs worth about £160,000 seized in separate police raids.
Officers found diamorphine and cocaine with a street value of £90,000 during house searches in Cherry Avenue and Gean Court, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, at about 7:20pm on Wednesday.
Two men, aged 26, and a woman, 24, were arrested.
Later, a kilo of heroin worth about £70,000 was recovered near Applecross Street, Possilpark, Glasgow. Police were alerted after a member of the public reported two men acting suspiciously on the canal bank.
Detective Chief Inspector Pat Campbell said: “If anyone has information about drugs in their community I would ask them to pass it to police.”
