Uniting Koreas put at £2,000 trillion

The cost of reunifying the two Koreas, split since shortly after the Second World War, would be about 3,500 trillion won (about £2,000tn), the Federation of Korean Industries has said.

South Koreans earn an average about 12,350 a year while North Koreans earned about 684 in 2008, according to the South's Unification Ministry.
