Rebel Rangers shareholders issue charter The 4 men looking to force their way onto the Rangers board at the club’s AGM on December 19 have issued a list of pledges they believe will restore trust between the fans and the boardroom. Malcolm Murray, Paul Murray, Alex Wilson and Scott Murdoch have all signed the 8 point charter. It states: • We will never sell the stadium. We will ring-fence the assets to ensure this can never happen again. This is our home and will always remain our home. • We are committed to fan representation on the board • No director (including his/her family members or close business associates) shall have any financial interest in any contract involving the club. • We will undertake to ensure that all executive directors’ salaries and bonuses are approved by the renumeration committee and subject to market benchmarking • We will undertake to ensure that all shareholders are treated equally • We will undertake to ensure that there is total transparency in all club affairs • There will be no long-term debt • All non-executive director fees are to be waived unless the club is in Europe Bangura’s former coach urges Celtic to “take care of him” Mohamed Bangura’s former manager at Elfsborg believes he could be a success at the Parkhead club if he is mentored and coached upon his return. The Sierra Leone international signed a 4 year deal after signing from AIK Stockholm for £2.2m in 2011 but failed to score in 16 appearances.
