Ryan McGowan contract talks stall as agent left ‘in the dark’ by Hearts
The 23-year-old is out of contract next summer and will be free to speak to any potential suitors in January.
The Australian defender rejected an offer to join Third Division Rangers in August and a previous contract offer from Hearts was described as “demeaning” by his agent.

“I have written to them on several occasions and I’ve not had anything back.
“I’m in the dark and it’s difficult to say anything. They have not come back and we are no further forward with regards to Ryan.
“We are just leaving him to concentrate on his football.
“If they don’t come back soon, it would suggest they are willing to let Ryan leave at the end of the season.”
Tynecastle boss John McGlynn has previously said that players need to be realistic with their wage demands.
