Rangers 'hold hands up' over latest touchline spat with Hibs
A harmless clash on the pitch between Connor Goldson and Ryan Porteous, which saw the Rangers defender push his opponent away after landing on him, led to Potter becoming agitated in the technical area after words were exchanged between the dugouts, prompting both Gerrard and Jack Ross to gesture for the Hibs no.2 to calm down.
It is not the first time the two benches have clashed with Potter and Rangers coach Tom Culshaw both shown red cards after a rammy at Easter Road in December 2019 following Porteous’ sending off for a rash challenge on Borna Barisic.

“I don't think there's anything really to be made of it,” he said.
“They have got a bench that is desperate to win, we've got a win that is desperate to win.
“It's not the first time we've exchanged words with Jack Ross' team.
“I think that was maybe from our side rather than their side today so we'll hold our hands up there.
“But look, you've got competitive guys who want to win football matches.
"We're in real privileged and important positions and we want our teams to win so it was something and nothing really. There's nothing really to make of it."
Rangers won the match thanks to goals from Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent, with Kevin Nisbet grabbing a consolation for the Easter Road men.
