Steven Gerrard is looking to add another option out wide before the close of the transfer window after seeing Jamie Murphy ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.
He’s identified Dyer as the ideal target and wishes Rangers to negotiate a loan deal for the player, who remains on Reading’s radar after talks broke down with Swansea earlier this summer.
