Forres scored in six minutes when a Simon Allan cross was not cleared and Kyle Scott chested down and side-footed into the roof of the net.

On the quarter hour, a Forrres corner was not cleared and Scott belted home his second goal off the underside of the bar. Simon Allan made it three for Forres in 22 minutes when his cross from the right took a deflection and ended up high in the net.

John Crawford headed a goal back for Coldstream with nine minutes to go.
