Design signatures: “Graphic print, luxurious materials and hot accessories.”

How would you describe the Holly Fulton woman? “Anyone who knows what they like and likes what I do.”

Trademark piece: “A digitally printed, full-length monochrome dress in silk jersey. It sums up my ethos of things that are easy to wear yet luxurious, incorporating my favourite colour combination of black and white, with a feel of contemporary elegance which you can take anywhere.”

Name three autumn/winter 2012 inspirations: “Rainbows, Kit Williams and what it means to be sexy and chic.”

What does 2012 hold for your brand? “Apart from sustaining our current growth and expanding the company’s capabilities, hopefully more staff, collaborations, holidays, fun and frolics, a continued enjoyment of what we do and a white Christmas.”

What is your favourite decade in fashion? “The sixties: the simplistic, bold aesthetic that emerged then is akin to my own ethos; incorporating luxury into statement pieces that are accessible and easy to wear. And they weren’t shy of a spot of colour either.”

Where do you go in London to seek artistic inspiration? “Preferably to bed in East London, I have my best ideas when horizontal but I also like Alfie’s Antique Market to view the treasures and get my creative juices flowing!”
